Description
Join us for the Angletarn Pikes Guided Hike, a stunning mountain adventure in the Lake District National Park that combines quiet fells, hidden tarns, and incredible views throughout.
We begin with a steady approach towards Hayeswater, easing into the day with peaceful surroundings before climbing onto the high fells. The route then ascends to Rest Dodd, where the views begin to open up across the Eastern Fells. For those looking to add an extra challenge, there’s the option to include The Knott, adding another rewarding summit to the day.
From here, we continue across to Brock Crags before making our way towards the beautiful Angletarn. This section of the hike is a real highlight, with dramatic scenery, rocky outcrops, and a sense of remoteness that makes this route feel truly special.
Along the way, you’ll summit three, or potentially four, Wainwrights in one rewarding circuit. Keep your eyes open as you walk, this area is home to England’s oldest native red deer herd, and sightings during the rutting season are always a memorable bonus.
This is a fantastic hike for those looking to escape the busier routes and experience a quieter side of the Lake District, while still taking on a proper mountain challenge.
