Gary is an exceptionally experienced mountain leader with a friendly and inclusive approach to everyone who joins one of his well planned hikes. He and Abbie make a competent and friendly team who both look out for everyone’s welfare during the hike. I have had a wonderful time walking this summer on a few of the Lake District hiking adventures and recommend Gary as a mountain guide. I had a fantastic experience on the guided hike with Gary and genuinely couldn’t recommend him highly enough.
From start to finish, everything was really well organised and Gary was an excellent guide — knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming and clearly passionate about what he does. He created a really relaxed atmosphere and brought together a great group of people, which made an already beautiful hike even more enjoyable.
I travelled up from London specifically for the hike and it was absolutely worth the journey. A brilliant day in the Lake District, great company and a first-class guide.

Fab day with hiking adventures on the Fairfield Horseshoe. Great guides, very knowledgeable of the local area loads of great facts! Fun day, with a lovely very welcoming group!

My 1st group hike and what a Fabulous day it was! I already can't wait for the next one! Highley recommend, it couldn't have been any better! Very knowledgeable, very friendly. Ive been looking at group hikes for well over a year but was worried about things like holding people back! So glad I booked and ill definitely be back for more. What an amazing walking company would 100% recommend. This was my first group walk without my husband and I was made to feel welcomed, any areas on the walk I struggled with they were their to help with no judgement just encouragement

5 star review for a super enjoyable guided walk with Gary doing the Yorkshire 3 Peaks  last Saturday with him, Abi (as fab support driver), Carl and my friend Marion in aid of the charity SASH.
