𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐇𝐢𝐤𝐞 – 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

What a start to the season! ☀️⛰️
Yesterday’s first hike of the season took us up to the legendary Priest Hole Cave, and what a day it turned out to be. Wall-to-wall sunshine, big views across the fells, and a fantastic group who were brilliant from start to finish.
We also ticked off three Wainwrights along the way:
⛰️ Dove Crag – 792m ✅
⛰️ Little Hart Crag – 637m ✅
⛰️ High Hartsop Dodd – 519m ✅
Huge thanks to Nicola, Mason, Lisa, Naveen, Michelle, Steve, Andy & Hannah for making it such a great day. A cracking team and a perfect way to kick off the season. 🙌
Here’s to many more adventures like that! 🥾✨

𝐁𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 & 𝐖𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐢𝐤𝐞 – 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

An easier day on the fells today, taking in Baystones & Wansfell from Ambleside. Sometimes it’s nice to slow the pace a little and just enjoy being out there.
We were treated to a cracking morning, blue skies, hardly a breath of wind and sunshine strong enough that we were hiking in T-shirts… in March!
Not something you can always say in the Lake District.
Great views over Windermere and the surrounding fells, and a reminder that you don’t always need the biggest mountains for a brilliant day.

𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐦 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐠 & 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐇𝐨𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐳𝐞𝐫 – 𝐖𝐞𝐝𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

What a day out on the fells!
Helm Crag, Gibson Knott, Calf Crag & Steel Fell all in one cracking round. And what a belter it turned out to be.
We kicked things off up Helm Crag, standing proudly above Grasmere with the famous Lion & the Lamb rock formation. It’s one of those summits that never gets old, no matter how many times you go up!
The mighty Howitzer on Helm Crag stood there looking sharp, today it was in perfect condition, dry rock, hardly a breath of wind. We both climbed it and conquered it!
A brilliant little scramble and one of the most unique summit features in the Lakes.
Disclaimer: Climbing the Howitzer is completely optional. Please don’t attempt it unless you have scrambling experience and feel confident on exposed rock.
From there we made our way across to Gibson Knott and on to Calf Crag & Steel Fell soaking up winter sunshine. Proper blue skies & big views.
Now… let’s talk about the “boggy interlude” between Calf Crag and Steel Fell.
I’m fairly certain wellies would’ve been the preferred footwear choice at one stage. It was less “fell walking” and more “strategic peat avoidance with occasional sinking”. Character building, we’ll call it.
All in all, an amazing day. Sunshine, laughter, a proper summit scramble, a bit of wind to keep us honest and enough bog to keep the stories flowing.
Absolutely class day!

𝐏𝐢𝐤𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨 & 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐥𝐞 𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐬 – 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟑𝐫𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

First day of a few days holiday in the Lakes, we were out today on Pike of Blisco and Crinkle Crags, and what a day to be out in the fells.
Big blue skies, barely a breath of wind, and wall-to-wall sunshine lighting up the Langdales.
A crisp, clear day where every ridge feels sharper, every view stretches that bit further, and you can’t help but stop and just take it all in.
What a day to be alive!

𝐏𝐥𝐜𝐚𝐞 𝐅𝐞𝐥𝐥 – 𝐒𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐞𝐛 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Out with a small group of regulars today on Place Fell in the Lake District ⛰️
Great company as always, we somehow managed to almost dodge the showers and kept out of the worst of the wind too 💦🌪️
Not a bad effort for a Lakes day!
