Snowdon Sunrise – Friday 29th March 2024
A last minute decision based on poor weather and poor visibility meant we changed the planned sunrise hike up Snowdon to a 9.30am start.
We set off up the Llanberis path, along with lots of other people hoping the cloud would lift from the summit to at least give us some views.
Unfortunately this wasnt the case, what we got instead was every bit of British weather thrown at us, strong wind, hail, snow and rain.
Luckily, everyone in the group had good mountain experience and were determined to summit despite the challenging conditions.
A great day was finished off with a couple of obligatory pints in The Heights pub in Llanberis
